This is my second travel backpack I’ve bought since I started travelling a couple years ago. Before I had borrowed a couple others. My one before this was a vango foldable backpack, which was alright too but I am definitely glad I have made this purchase.
Size:
Firstly I have to say it packs up Sooo small, like the smallest folding backpack I’ve seen to be honest. Makes it great for the traveller who wants to fit everything into hand luggage or who just wants to travel with the smallest most convenient gear possible.
Function:
Two waterbottle mesh pockets on the side are a winner! This is what I bought this pack for as I hate having to dig around in my bag for water. It holds good sizes of bottles too with elasticated tops.
The 18l bag size holds a surprising amount of stuff in it, being able to fit a4 notepads and ipad and my digital slr camera with a squeeze. Great pack for day trips round cities or day treks out on the trails.
Waterproof :
So far, it works, been caught in a few showers with this bag and the stuff inside has stayed dry every time.
Overall cracking travel bag, will be my travel companion for the foreseeable future.
