As I sat there in the tavern with Sancho Panza force feeding me wine from an oversized wine skin. I really started to think I had overdone it this time. After the tales he had told of his Master Don Quixote I had nearly burst from the gut from laughing. Now however I felt like my stomach would explode from the inhumane amount of wine that was being squirted down my neck.

Although those who have heard of Don Quixote and his adventures before will know there were many tales told. I would like to propose that what came after for Sancho Panza was much more of a story of chivalry and bravery than Don Quixote could ever have wished for from his former squire.

From Sancho’s failed love affairs to his heroic (in his eyes) deeds, there is no limit to what he could do for the benevolence of the people that he met. With such inspiration from his former master how else could he have become.

Sorry distracted again.

I managed to wrestle my arms free from the grasp of the tavern keeper and push back Sancho with the wine skin spouting it’s dark sweet nectar across the wooden floor beams before he could right the vessel.

“What did you do that for!?” He shouted in an angry sort of slur that drunk men yell in.

“I could feel my lungs filling with that wine!” I hissed back as I tried desperately to inhale air into my deprived lungs.

“Thats good wine you have wasted boy and I knew you wouldn’t finish the lot. Now wheres my winnings? Its time to pay the flutist indeed”…
