They had been friends as far back as they could collectively remember. With schoolyard tales of bitten knees and playwrights in the summer sun.

Although the older they grew the harder it became to see each other, as life inevitably gets in the way of friendships. Girls came an went but their friendship outlasted them all.

No matter the time the spent apart, a fun lighthearted time would be had when these old friends would reunite.

Almost as close as brothers, just without the sharing of blood.
