Yesterday, December 7, 1941 a date that will live in infamy. That was the day the world changed, it was never the same again after that. That date had repercussions for everyone.
Nobody could’ve guessed the impact it had or that it was going to have. It was like the butterfly affect the wings flap in one continent and a hurricane starts across the other side of the world. The millions that were to be affected couldn’t even see it coming.
America was at peace at the time when it was attacked unaware, the Japanese surprise attack had been a total success and the Pacific fleet had been crippled.
America was on its knees.
There was only one man that could change the tide of war and drive the country forward but it was an unlikely hero. And one that although needed would never be popular. But war does make for strange bedfellows as they say…
